Maximise your margins, adjust your prices

EvalCar is an application designed for used car managers. Every day it gathers the listings of the sales sites in your subscription, such as AutoScout24.be, and helps you set the right trade-in or selling price.

Prices on sales portals are sometimes far too high, or very low, for example for a car with a broken engine. EvalCar leaves out these extreme values before any calculation and tells you whether the sample is representative enough to be used for a valuation.

EvalCar gives you a reliable market price, calculated on cleaned data, to buy and sell your used cars at the right price.

Today’s deals

All the listings of your sources : the new listings of the sites in your subscription, gathered in one sortable list.
Precise filters : make, model, mileage, price, years, fuel, private or dealer, and source sites.
By period : today, yesterday, the last few days, the last week or the last month.
From results to chart : one click opens the price curve and analysis of the same search.

Value

Prices per source site : number of cars, average price, lowest and highest price, for each site.
Your price options : four percentages specific to your company, applied to the average price to get your value.

Chart and price analysis

Cleaned data : impossible values and duplicates removed, then the cheapest 10 % and the most expensive 10 % left out (adjustable from 0 to 25 %). The curves before and after are shown.
Full statistics : average with its 95 % margin, median, most frequent price, quartiles, middle 80 %, standard deviation, spread and skewness.
Plain-language conclusions : what the curve says, in simple sentences, with the market reference price for the search.
Representative sample? : a verdict based on the number of cars, precision, spread, sources and years, with advice to refine the search.
Listings in one click : the listings of each source site open in a window, without leaving the chart.

Price by age and estimate

Median price per model year : a chart showing at a glance how age lowers the price.
The 50 most typical cars : for one exact year, the cars nearest to the average mileage and average price, on a clickable scatter chart.
Price estimate : choose a year and a mileage: EvalCar gives the market price, its likely range and how reliable the calculation is.

E-mail and SMS alerts

Saved searches : every day, the new listings matching your alerts are sent to you by e-mail, and by SMS if a mobile number is given.
Follow what is new : for each alert, all matching listings or only those published since the last send.

Your company

Users : manage your team’s accounts according to the number of licences in your subscription.
Subscription by modules : choose your source sites and options, such as the Classic cars module for cars over 20 years old.
Four languages : the application is available in French, Dutch, English and German.
